9.  Tactical Training Areas (Approximately 6000 acres)

- Ft Harrison: (Approx. 2300 acres with limited dismount areas using blank ammo and some pyro)

- Cherry Creek Training Area: Approximately 1500 acres located 3 miles NW of Ft Harrison, all vehicles to include tanks and BFV's must stay on established roads. Very good dismounted training area. Authorization for the use of blanks and pyro must be authorized thru Range Control prior to all training events. Bivouac sites are located in the area.

- Granite Creek Training Area: Approximately 1200 acres located 5 miles NW of Ft Harrison, good road march route (vehicle/dismount) from Ft Harrison through Cherry Creek Training Area and continues to the Granite Creek Training Area. Good dismounted training area. The same restrictions apply as with the Cherry Creek Training Area.

- RV Ranch Training Area: Approximately 1200 acres located on the NW edge of Ft Harrison used primarily for dismounted training. Wheeled vehicle use is authorized on established roads. Blank ammunition and some pyrotechnics are authorized, contact Range Control prior to any use.

- Blue Cloud Training Area: Approximately 800 acres located on the SW edge of Ft Harrison used primarily for mounted training. Blank ammunition and pyrotechnics are authorized, contact Range Control prior to any use. This area is closed for training when the MRFR and/or the MPMG ranges are in a hot status.
