1. AREA: Training Area C

2. LOCATION: Fort Harrison Training Area (See Map)

3. PRIMARY USE: Marshall Drop Zone, Helicopter Training Area Tank Crew Gunnery Skills, Boresight Exercises, Bradley Crew Gunnery Skills, Boresight Exercises

4. SECONDARY USE: Limited Dismounted Tactical Training

5. AUTHORIZED WEAPON SYSTEMS:

Limited Pyrotechnics

6. AUTHORIZED AMMUNITION:Use of pyrotechnics/blanks in this area must be coordinated with Training Site Headquarters prior to use. All residue will be recovered.

7. AREA DENIAL: This area is not usable for training when the following occurs:

- Helicopter operations are suspended when Marshall DZ is in use.

8. FIRING RESTRICTIONS/LIMITATIONS:

a. Pyrotechnics may be suspended during time of fire danger.
b. Bivouac, water tank, antennae and port-pot sites must be previously approved by TrainingSite Headquarters.
c. TCGST/BGST/Boresight Exercise area is defined as follows:

an area 50 meters west of the UTES fence, bordered on the south by the wind sock, and on the north by yellow landing strip markers. All tracked vehicles will stay within this areawhen conducting boresight procedures.

d. The area to the south of Muscle Mountain is a "No Fly" Zone.
e. No laser operations are authorized, ensure all laser safety filters are in place (M-1 Tanks).

f. All personnel conducting air assault/airborne operations will be qualified to conduct training. A certified drop zone safety officer (DZSO) and medical personnel will be present for all training. All applicable FM's, TM's and regulations will be adhered to.

9. No variations are authorized without an approved waiver from Training Site Headquarters.
