Welcome to the Montana National Guard

Public Affairs Section!
"A subsidiary of Brave Cameras"

Welcome to the Public Affairs section of this site.  It is my intent to keep you all informed of newsworthy activities and events in the Montana National Guard.  There are many things to talk about and be proud of here and we will do our best to capture the most significant items.

Mission The State Joint Headquarters Public Affairs will fulfill the Army’s obligation to keep the American people and the Montana National Guard informed using all possible media mediums while supporting the command to establish conditions that lead to confidence in the Montana militia and its readiness to conduct operations in peacetime, conflict, and war.

Vision:  Every member of the Montana National Guard contributes to the effectiveness of Public Affairs.   Every one of us has a proud National Guard story to tell.  That story should be written, filmed or tape recorded so the nation is informed and your family has the opportunity to know what contributions you make for the greater good of this country and its’ people.  The soldier is the most effective communicator of our story and it’s the Guard’s past dedication and present day courage that makes our legacy one of the best success stories in American History.  My goal is that when people hear about the Montana National Guard they know us as a dedicated, honorable and viable force that aids in securing this nation and taking care of our people.   It is our story and/or our unit’s story that builds the confidence of the American public.

In the Public Affairs Office I am lucky to have a team of professionals that are working to keep the public in Montana and in the nation abreast of the events of the National Guard. Part of our mission is to provide the local and state media centers information on the activities of the Montana National Guard.  I ask for your assistance supporting this mission as you come across stories or events that are newsworthy. Please do not hesitate to contact myself or one of the staff to assist in your effort.  Dealing with the media can be nerve racking, but it must be done.  To request services from the PA office, simply fill out a DA Form 3903 and if you come by our office, we can help.

Current MTNG Public Affairs Staff:
